“ First time visit, friendly welcome from staff, seated in a luvly spacious area, they also have an outside terrace underneath. Ordered our drinks, a bottle of wine, very reasonably priced, served by Ali, very chatty and nice. Ordered our food, Hummus and flat bread to share, mixed grill and charred prawns, and salad, again served by Ali and Daniela, all our food was delicious and freshly made, and very tasty. Highly recommend a visit, we will return next time staying in Edinburgh :) :) ”
“ It’s a good Turkish restaurant with good food, nice interior, and great ambience overall! ”
“ Came here after many many recommendations by some local friends. I can finally see why - their food is hands down AMAZING! Chicken breast was so tender and juicy that left me craving for more! Their naan was perfectly made, light and fluffy yet not on the dry side. Briyani was just delicious! Portions and prices are decent, location is excellent - just by the castle. Service was prompt and waitresses were attentive. Probably the best Halal restaurant yet in Edinburgh will definitely come back! ”
“ Great service, girls were very friendly! Desserts are amazing, especially the ice cream. We will definitely come back again ”
“ The food was delicious, very fresh, well cooked, they had the most delicious dessert I've ever tried in my life!. This place has a relaxed, casual vibes, very clean and spacious. Our waiter was very nice and explained to us the menu, very cheerful as well ”
“ Absolutely brilliant Kurdish food. Must trys include the lamb kebab, the chicken kebab and the slow cooked lamb in gravy. The service person was all smiles and efficient. Highly recommend the place for a flavour packed meal. ”
“ I am a professional coffee connoisseur from Columbia. My family has been growing coffee for generations and own an ethical plantation which I shall soon inherit. I very rarely enjoy coffee from establishments that aren't sourced from my plantation, as the quality is vastly inferior. Yet in spite of this, I had an extremely pleasant experience, having consumed the homemade carrot cake and a surprisingly delicious coffee. The best element of my experience, however, is undoubtedly the outstanding manner in which Emma had served me, making my experience unforgettable. This lady has some serious potential and should be running all coffee shops in Edinburgh (I don't make such statements lightly). Thank you dearly ”
“ I was celebrating my daughter's 18th birthday, we wanted to try something new. What an experience, we were well greeted and had great interaction with the staff and management. Our food was insane, flavour explosion and substantial portions. I would highly recommend trying Hanam's we will absolutely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening. ”
